Technically sound & educated generation always plays a pivot role for purposeful socio-economic and political uplift of the nation. Because, only educated/skilled cohort can contribute key part in developmental arena, as quality education facilitates the minds to explore new ways as well as optimum use of the available resources. Moreover the educated legion can also play their constructive role to combat on civil unrest and as well as elimination of terrorists’ elements from the society. To have well educated incumbents the understanding and command on English language is stand as pre-requisite. Because it is the world largest language, which has been used across the glob. Like wise all educated material is also exists in English spectrum therefore the importance of this language has been increased day by day. Thus there is great fear of English language exists in light of speaking, reading & writing particularly among the underdeveloped countries like Pakistan. Hence, it has been realized especially in the past decades that there is dire need to have a sound command on English language for socio-economic uplift. Although efforts are being made in public & private sectors to improve this segment, still much needs to be done.
To contribute in breaking of English fear Community Support Concern (CSC) is Striving in collaboration with American Consulate, Lahore to improve the English Language of the students of 5 Government High Schools students at District Dera Ghazi Khan. 300 male/female students are being benefited through a blend of Public Private Partnership with the objective “To empower the adolescents of community in English learning paradigm through adaptation of new strategies, & techniques.
The English Access Micro scholarship Program provides a foundation of English language skills to non-elite students through after school classes and intensive summer learning activities. Access students gain an appreciation for American culture and democratic values, increase their ability to participate successfully in the socio-economic development of their countries, and gain the ability to compete for and participate in future U.S. exchange and study programs. Primary focus is based on four language skills and audio visual method to enhance learning day by day. Students spend three hours for this particular class and implement activities for language enhancement accordingly. At the end of project students will get certificates in graduation ceremony.
