KFW Bankengruppe and PMIC visit

A delegation from KFW Bankengruppe and Pakistan Microfinance Investment Company Limited (PMIC) consisting of Daniel Etschmann- Senior Technical Expert Energy Asia KFW, Christiane Schmidt- Senior Project Manager Infrastructure and Financial Sector Pakistan KFW and Saqib Siddiqui- Head of Sector Development PMIC, visited our head office today to gain insight on our Solar Energy initiative.

Women Innovation Network (WIN) incubator

Our team visited Women Innovation Network (WIN) Punjab to meet with the startups and to gauge their financing needs. WIN is a project of Punjab Commission on Status of Women and we are excited to work together on various avenues for women empowerment.

Opening ceremony of Sahiwal 1 and 2, Pakpattan and Arifwala branches

We expanding our network by opening up four new branches; Sahiwal 1 and 2, Pakpattan and Arifwala. Mr. Jamil Ahmad General Manager CEIP and Ms. Nabila Tahseen Manager Operations inaugurated all four branches and met with the staff there.

Dehiyan Namaniyain- street theatre

A theater performance “Dehiyan Namaniyain” was held in Village Madery Tehsil Ferozewala District Sheikhupura, by CSC’s team, highlighting the importance of women economic empowerment to eliminate the domestic violence against women.

CSC organized a 5-day training on Enterprise development for women to sustain the capacity building of women after skill enhancement training programs. The purpose of the training was to enable women to develop entrepreneurial capacity and grow their business by reducing different barriers between them and the market. Training need assessment pictured the strong need for such training for lower income women.

The training built capacity of 24 women on basics of business, kinds of business, business cycle, gaps identification, steps of business, marketing basics, BCE stalling, micro and macro screening, feasibility, market survey, and costing and pricing of products.

Digitization workshop by Jazz

Jazz conducted a training on Digitization for our head office and field staff. The purpose of this training was to educate the staff about the digitization in the financial services sector.

MoU signing with Go Green Welfare Society & The Gender Guardian

CEIP is taking its client base up a notch. Today we have signed an MoU with Go Green Welfare Society and The Gender Guardian to include the marginalized community of transgenders as our beneficiaries. These beneficiaries will benefit from our Scooty-Ride with Pride program and will be provided with vehicles for monetisation and better mobility. We are constantly innovating and improving our programs to cater to a larger audience for a better tomorrow

Women on wheels rally

We partnered with Chief Minister’s Strategic Reforms Unit -SRU for the Women on Wheels mega rally. It was a wonderful event that allowed a large number of women to reclaim the public spaces. Our Branch Manager Nabila Imran, who is amongst the few beneficiaries of our Scooty Program, also joined the #WOW rally on ground.

MoU signing with Greenlight Planet

Mr. Tariq Zaman- Country Manager Greenlight Planet and Ms. Shaista Jan– CEO CSC Empowerment and Inclusion Programme signed an MoU to meet the increasing demands of Solar Products. Together we wish to provide a green and clean solution for loadshedding.

Jacqueline Novogratz's visit to CEIP

Jacqueline Novogratz- Founder and CEO of Acumen and Ayesha Khan-Pakistan Director Acumen visited us in March at our head office. During their visit, they met with our staff and beneficiaries of Green town branch. They were excited to see the solar products from Harness Energy that CEIP is offering its clients.
