The Livestock Value Chain (LVC) project aims to provide livestock management trainings to herders engaged in keeping livestock for fattening purposes (sacrificial and/or meat purposes) and trainings on dairy best practices for small farmers. This project is being implemented by CEIP for over 400 small farmers (all of these being graduation clients) in D.G. Khan. The trainings will help the farmers in building quality and cost-effective animal sheds, improve feed to animals, treat diseases in an apt manner and learn hygienic milk extraction methods. Access to markets will be provided through backward and forward linkages with public/private entities respectively.
