Move Forward to Regain Prosperous Lives II
Community involvement is an essential aspect of systematic economic development in rural areas. CSC has worked relentlessly to develop marginalised communities and make them economically independent. Move Forward to Regain Prosperous Lives (MFRPL) was first started in flood affected areas of District’s Dera-Ghazi Khan and Rajanpur.
Currently, MFRPL Phase II is being supported by Bread for the World for three years, 2013 through 2016.The project had two main goals, firstly, it aimed to enable 300 small scale farmers in 20 villages of DG Khan and Rajanpur to demand their right to access resources. Secondly, the Project aimed on improving socio–economic conditions and access to healthcare for women in 20 villages of the same districts. The policy focus of CSC has been on building human capital by improving access to productive resources, knowledge and skills, with a particular emphasis on reproductive health in the project area.
